Take Insurance and Risk Management Off the To-Do List
· Chart and track renewal for all applicable HOA insurance lines.
· Supply underwriting information for each association.
· Secure answers to follow-up questions from underwriters.
· Review renewal coverage proposals for accuracy and changes in coverage.
· Present renewal terms to HOAs.
· Communicate, when applicable, with board members on increasing premiums, issues surrounding such, new coverage, etc.
· Review requests for claims - review claim submission and advise if damage is purely at owners' level, or coverage not warranted (due to deductible level, etc.).
· If claim warranted and approved to move forward - review onsite with adjustor if property level and internal adjustor/or attorney if D&O or GL.
· Receive and review claim summaries and status for property level damages/loss.
· If D&O or GL related, continue conversation with appropriate parties to move such forward to closure.
· Insurance Carrier Inspections - these are random based on renewals - accompany inspector as scheduled and resolve deficiency items, report to underwriter for compliance confirmation.
· Recoverable depreciation filing.
